Marla Manion


 Marla Manion has been with Indianapolis Power and Light for 30 years. She has been in Power Delivery since 1989. Marla is a Team Leader in Customer Operations. Her primary responsibilities include managing the support team for the poles and wires side of the Company.

She have worked with numerous builders since being employeed with IPL and received the Ryland “Rewards” for outstanding performance in March of 1999.

Marla currently volunteers at the Mary Rigg Center on the west side of Indianapolis. She was a Team Leader for IPL Day in the Park in 2012, serves on the board of Rebuilding Together and has been a volunteer for the Special Olympics.

Marla is past president of IPL’s Women’s Club and Forum, was Treasurer in 2012 and currently Vice President of IPL Luminaries. She served on the APEX (continuous improvement) Steering Committee for several years. Two of her continuous improvement projects made it to the AES global competition in Cancun.

Marla is married to her husband, Randy, which is also a Team Leader at IPL. She has two daughters, one son, three grandsons, and one granddaughter.
